Ouch. I've heard mostly good things about DAS, but would think twice now.
Sorry you have to go through this. It must be heartbreaking.

Cars do not "shift in transit" unless they are not properly secured. DAS
trailers are designed for car shipping, so if two cars moved while being
trailered, then the driver really screwed up by failing to tie the car down
properly.

Make sure they pay for the repair, but you use the shop that you want and
have the work done to your satisfaction. They should have no role in the
decision-making process.
