Maybe what you are talking about are  "Street or Hot Rodders"
who pull and switch engines out of perfectly good cars in order
to drop them into older cars..........?
"Muscle Cars" CAME FROM THE FACTORY with big engines already installed.
(GTOs, Roadrunners, 442s, Cobras, etc)
Does this make better sense?
