Need some help: I need to see about changing the float on my gas gauge
sending unit and when I crawl underneath the car, it looks like I need to
drop the tank to do this, correct? Even on jack stands, there doesn't seem
to be enough room to 'wrench' the unit loose; I can't even see the base of
the sending unit where it mates the tank without using a mirror. Can anyone
verify this situation for me? Its a 1966 Imperial Crown Coupe. Thnx.
