RE: IML: Jade Green and Platinum '55 Newport



At Mercer Island, Washington during the 1960's there was a fabulous '55 Imperial Newport in Platinum with the Jade Green top. At the time, it was the most beautiful '55 Imperial that I had ever seen. Years later in the '80s, it was still parked under the carport at the same house, and looked very good, but the interior was absolutely FULL (up to the windows) of various pairs of women's patent leather high heal shoes. I wonder what happened to that '55 Imperial.

It is because of this car that I have wanted to find a scale model in these colors.
