RE: IML: chrome valve covers

I decided to keep the chrome ones for another car, but still need the painted ones.

Rich, I have so many 440's lying around, I would be happy to swap some painted covers for your chrome ones.  Incidentally, they all leak, regardless of gasket choice.  They are all made of too thin a gauge of metal, and they distort as you tighten them down.  Good luck.

Subject: IML: chrome valve covers

Hello list

My '75 Imperial has chrome valve covers that were on the car when I purchase it late last year. I don't know the history about the car, but I'm sure they have been changed. Did Chrysler ever use chrome valve covers from the factory on Imperials?

Does anybody on the list have the stock painted valve covers that they want to sell?
