I took my instrument-panel out yesterday to replace
the chrome surround with a nicer one, and removed a couple of the guages to see
what one or two of you folks were talking about a while back with reference to
the human-hair-like wire that allows the pointer to light, and sure enough, mine
were no longer connected to the needles. does anyone know of some one
who can and/or will repair these? I also think I remember someone mentioning
that someone re-builds the power-packs for the electroluminescent
system
