Re: IML: Airflow knock-off/ Gentleman Prefer Blondes

A sedan version of one of these appears as a french taxi cab in the very well known film, Gentleman Prefer Blondes w/ Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe.

The first time I noticed that car in the film, I thought I was looking at an Airflow, until shots of the front revealed different grill and headlight treatment. That film was recently on TCM last week. There are many shots of the car providing opportunities to study its Airflow-esk looks, not to mention some of our most beloved '50s sex symbols in their prime.
