RE: IML: 1st thing - power steering leak. Can i use ATF to fill power steering fluid?

I read that discussion and (to tell you the truth) I got a bit confused.


I found the owners manual and mine states "power steering fluid."  The
bottle my business partner handed me is MERCON V and DEXTRON III ATF.
Maybe I fell asleep, but I think I read that DEXTRON III was "ok."  Do I
have that right?

Yes, you can, but it's not the best fluid to use, for
several reasons.  There's a good discussion already on
