I remember the thread. I spoke to the owner of this car. He reports that it makes good use of the extra power. He claimed that it will burn rubber from a start, but only did it once, and quite by accident. If this coupe is lighter than a convertible, that could explain why. Of the numbers I saw comparing the two power plants, the difference in torque caught my attention. This is an interesting car. I wonder if there is a way to know how many Imperials were ordered like this in 1965.
