All, I know this is hard to answer without any background on the cars, but I don't have much. An acquaintance owns a pair of 65's. According to him, one is in poor shape but complete and repairable, the other is for parts. When he first mentioned them, I asked about price, and was told $500 for the better car. I thought that was high for a rough project (adjusting for the relatively low price our cars bring). He has responded that "best offer" for the pair was now his target. Assuming the cars are rough, as he has described them, would an offer of $300 for the pair be insulting, assuming I can word a polite offer? I don't want to steal his cars or offer an unfair price. If they are worth much more, I just can't make any offer. If there is interest here (cars in southern Mississippi (not recently under water, though)), I'd be happy to pass that along as well. How do y'all handle this? Thanks for any input, Michael ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com ----------------- This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
