1981-1983 Imperials have pentastars and no eagles.   In 1978 the Chrysler
LeBaron 'stole' the eagle and used it into the 1980's.

It just would not do to use the same emblem as a car less than half the
price, although the corporater symbol was acceptable.

Although the eagle lost some of its definition in the late 1960's, the
1950's version left no doubt it was an eagle.

what IMPs have had no avian symbols at all? be it stylized wings or the
like.
and on a 2nd note, i had always thought of the bird as a Falcon.
