Ken, i've been out of town and didn't see this thread. I have been restoring a 38 imperial bus cp for 5 yrs now. Depending on your source a #2 is probably in the hig teens. Needing new chrome is probably not a number 2. The good thing is there isn't that much chrome on a 38 compared to alot of other cars on this list. Make sure all the trim is there as it can be hard to find for this car, especially the chrysler loge that is in the middle of the front bumper.(I need one). Also the running boards should have stainless steel runners along the side and along the top. If I can be of any help feel free to email me off list. Where are you located? Good luck.
