IML: 63 Imperial Crown Southampton gauge problem

Hi guys

 

I recently wrote about my fuel,temp and oil pressure gauges not working and was advised that it was a limitor problem and thats reason why all 3 have failed. I have managed to find a set of gauges that have been fully restored and calibrated and will need to ship from the States to here in the UK.

 

Do any of you feel this should solve the problem, based on previous experience with other cars?

 

What does the limiter look like so I can make sure it comes with the new set
