IML: Marvel Mystery Oil in '90s Imperials

Specific to '90s Imperials, I have had great success introducing Seafoam into the throttle body intake by attaching a length of vacuum hose to the nipple that serves the cruise control vacuum hose.  Putting the Seafoam in a squeeze bottle and stopping any vacuum "leak" with the bottle's nipple, I control the liquid flow and don't experience any rough running problems.

I have run MMO in the crankcase and added it to the gas tank per the manufacturer's instructions with no harmful effects.

On most EFI systems it is very difficult to anything into the engine through the intake because it is all sealed and if you open up something you usually get a "vacuum" leak and the engine will stop running or will run very poorly. This is also true for "carb" cleaners. If you could insert a small orifice tube (hypodermic needle etc.) into your intake you could probably suck water into the engine through it. You would have to be able to seal the opening up afterwards to eliminate any leaks.
On newer cars I like to use the gas treatment cleaners every few of months (4-6). They are relativelty cheap and effective.

Hi All...i remmeber my Father showing me
about the trick of dribbling water thru the
carb to clean out the gunk/carbon buildup every
so often and he also swore by using Marvel
Mystery Oil. I am wondering if anyone has used
MMO is a 'newer' vehicle, like a car or truck
from 1995 - 2000? does it mess up the
fuel-injection system? or actually help clean
it up?
