Re: IML: 1963 Convertibles?

Noticing quite a few messages about '63 Imperial convertibles, perhaps inspired by the beauty at Barrett-Jackson. I know that 63s Imperials were well built and are great cars. However, I lean towards Imperials of the finned era, 56 to 62, the mild to wild era, one might say. Imperial convertibles for those years(none in 56 except a couple of factory one-offs) are just as rare, if not rarer, also with low production numbers as well. ALL Imperial convertibles were low production and rare survivors today.

Just not getting why the thread on 63 Imperials and not mentioning allthe other great Imperial years for convertibles.

Not trying to start an anti-63 or pro any other particular year, just comments and no offense meant and I hope none taken.

I found another 63 convertible. There is one for sale on Ebay item number
4616807927 current price is $203.51. Car needs total restoration and is
located in California. If it wasn't so far from me I would bid just to
preserve the car. Hopefully it will go to someone who will restore it.
