RE: IML: Leather seats

Hi list and a great big thanks to the Imperial wizard Eric,
I have been watching but unable to respond for quite sometime, anyway I too have a leather seat question.  Can a person dye the whole seat to a different color.  I meet a guy that is parting an 84 and it has red leather.  That front seat would make a welcome addition to the Furd PU.  I just need to dye it gray.  What do you think guys?

Elijah! Always a wealth of wisdom?  I used the Leatherique with great success.  But my seats are green leather and hard to find a sharpie to match.  Anyone have experience with leather dyes that worked?
I think Chris Hawkins' idea in a previous post (thanks, Chris!) to use laquer paint in the right color would be just the trick.  You could always take the car to the paint store and have them color match the leather, too!

I've used the "spray a puddle in the cap" method before for touch ups on paint and such, don't know why I didn't think of it for this.  :o)
