Ken The first thing I'd check would be continuity through the clutch coil. An ohm meter should show just a few ohms of resistance in the coil (almost a dead short). If the coil is open the clutch will not energize. If it was shorted you'd blow fuses. But you say there's voltage present so that tells me no blown fuses. It has been eons since I've had one of those apart, (I've killed a lot of brain cells over the years) but I believe it's a pretty simple task to pull the clutch and coil assembly off the compressor and replace them. You'll need the proper puller to remove and replace the assembly. Also a set of feeler gauges to adjust the clutch travel. Good luck.
