IML: Headliner Installation

Hi All,

 

Following the advice I got from reading the headliner section of the website, I ordered and received a new headliner for my 66 Crown Coupe from SMS fabrics.  After reading through the service manual instructions for removal and installation I only have a few unanswered questions.  The service manual refers to some glue or epoxy for various stages of installation but does not elaborate on what kind of glue to use.  Any recommendations?  Also, since my old headliner is in very bad condition and is falling apart, I notice that there is some kind of insulation between the headliner and roof.  Does anybody have any recommendations or suggestions as what to due about the insulation which is falling out?  I'd like to replace it, but I'm not sure what with.  Thanks in advance,
