RE: IML: 17 yr old with a '62 Coupe

Why do you think you need a transmission cooler? That is usually part of the radiator.

l Im a High Schooler in Alaska and have required a '62 Imperial 2 door with plenty of rust on the inside of the trunk and undrside of the hood. the exhuast is rusted of right at the first turn under the motor and I know that i need a new starter and possibly a Trans cooler. Not being a real big "car guy" this is a learning experience for me. I figured that i'd learn by starting with a classic car and this one fell in to my lap at a meger $1500 and 77,000 miles. I love my Imperial and have never seen a cooler ride in all my life. Any helpful tips or clues that this Imperial Community could offer my would be completely appreciated.
