Whoa, Nelly! Read up on installing fuel pumps on the site. You have to push up the activating plunger and hold it out of the way of the fuel pump arm, to do this you remove the access plug from under the pump mounting face. You might be able to goop it up with chassis grease to make it stay up in it's den long enough to stick the pump past it, but I prefer not to put chassis grease in the engine. Read up on this in our club tech help pages.
