Anthony. IMO, the best solution is to replace those rear shocks with Gabriel Hijackers and run the air lines into the trunk where you can manually adjust the ride height. The wheelbase on these cars is such that some sort of load leveling in the rear is a must. The auto leveling system on these cars was poorly designed IMO and even more poorly implemented. The system is all but unservicable due to the price of the parts involved. Forget that compressor mounted behind the rear wheel, that's a gonner. You will find that you will not have to adjust your ride height very often so the trunk mounted filler does the job just fine. http://www.newyorkeronline.org/membercars/74-78/bradhogg/90Imperial/Repairs/index.htm#rearshocks ----- Original Message ----- From: "anthony romano" <mamrom@xxxxxxx> To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, June 08, 2006 3:29 PM Subject: Re: IML: 1991imperial rear suspension Brad, I looked under and saw no bags. I believe the compressor for the system would be near the right rear tire? Anyway, can you directed me to fix the problem if it's a load leveling issue or a air wheel ride? Brad, I believe it would be a load level ride because this car did not come with a lot of extras. -Let me know what solutions are out there for both problems -Thanks -Anthony ----------------- http://www.imperialclub.com ----------------- This message was sent to you by the Imperial Mailing List.
