I think the 81-83 and 90-93 are worthy of being called imperial. They were made to compete with caddy and Lincoln of that era. They were not like the older Imperials, but they couldn't be, they had to stay with the times, to be marketable for Chrysler. Chrysler couldn't sell a 5000 pound car in 1990. I would like to have a 81-83 or 90-93 for a daily driver. The 81-83 will soon get old enough to become more collectible. Sure I prefer the older ones, but they aren't very practical as every day drivers. But as classic collector cars, I would rather have an older one. I have a 74 and love it, but it would cost too much to use as a every day driver, so it is my weekend car, and it sure does turn some heads, not many around my town, infact I think mine is the only one.   Tom
