I have not kept up on the latest car stereo stuff for a while, but you can probably still get CD changers with wired remotes. Mount the changer in the trunk. Put in a couple of speakers in the rear shelf and a sub woofer if you need in the trunk. You would not have to make any modifications to the car. All that you would have to do is run a power cable to the trunk and run the wired remote to somewhere near the driver.  If you do this, make sure the power cable is fused near the battery.

I usually remove the box from the glove
compartment, and hide the stereo in there.
If there are speaker cut-outs under the
parcel shelf, you can always mount the
spoeakers invisibly under there. If not, and
for the fronts, there are a lot of small
one-channel surface mount speakers out there
today that a car-stereo shop should be able to
wire up into a surround-type system while
keeping them inobvious.
