Re: IML: Car Find/ Has Imperial Content Possible FULL CLASSIC IMPERIAL

It might not be an Imperial, but I would stilll be quite happy to own it, to my mind one of the best periods of Chrysler and Imperial design and style.

Does anyone know if the cars, having been liberated aregoing to be sold?

The Chrysler in the photo is not an Imperial. It's a 31 Chrysler 6-cylinder model CM. The telling clues are the size of the cowl lights, the seam in the fender running fore and aft and the radiator shell grille shutter is not set up for the thermostat to close or open the shutters . Also telling is the gazelle less radiator ornament and its size as it's smaller than the gazelle-less 8 cylinder ornament. This CM-6 has a chrome windshield frame which indicates a deluxe version.
