That crossed my mind too :)
Allthough I must admit that I wasn't fiddling with
the clips of the fuseholder at all!
I was just measuring on both sides of the fuses to
check if the 12 Volts were there so to speak.
But ofcourse it wouldn't hurt to clean the
contacts!

Hi Rob -
You might want to check the condition of the clips
holding the B/U lamp fuse. If they are at all dirty or a little rusty
you might have the solution to your problem right there. It is
interesting that the lamps started working after you checked the
fuse.
