Imps & TENT at Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, PA

All:

Have heard froma good # of you attending Carlisle. Sounds like we'll have a
good "Imperial presence." Here are a few things to remember:

1.) When registering (either ahead or upon arrival) be sure to indicate
"Imperial Mailing List" as the club. Otherwise we don't get "credit" towards
the 25-count on the tent.

2.) The "fun field" (where we'll be) is just that, for fun, it is NOT a serious
judged car show. As such, your Imp needn't be "cherry" to show. Mine sure
isn't. What counts is that you bring it!

3.) I've received receipt confirmation paying for the tent, so it is "all set."
But the tent is all that is provided. Bring a lawn chair to sit on. CAN ANYONE
BRING A CARD TABLE?

4.) Cars for the show field enter at a separate gate, which (I think!) is Gate
1. You are allowed to leave/return when you want during the day, and your car
does NOT have to be left overnight.

I'm told our tent will be "as close as possible" to where the Imp class is on
the field, will not know actual location until arrival. Check the program when
you get there, it has a large diagram showing where everything is.
Registration should have that info. also.

Don't know what our count's like at this point, don't have time to call. The
Carlilsle folks have been real accomodating in giving us our own class, so...
let's not wear out our welcome mat by pestering them with status checks
(they're getting real busy this time of year!). I'll check when I get there,
if we have enough, they'll send me a refund, if not, I'll be asking for your
"donations" on the tent.

Regards -

Mark.
