NYC/Long Island mechanics?

Hey list,
Just thought I'd ask if any of the NYC/Long Island members know of good, 
reliable, realistically priced mechanics in the area. My car ('83 
carb/smallblock)is still semi-abandoned. I made it to Freeport.  Woo-hoo.
I think I won't be able to do it myself so ... just wondering.
