Ray, please understand. You own a 68 C-bodied Imperial with a 440 engine.
Your car came with an alternator and its bracket from the factory. All you
have to do is unbolt your alternator and bolt a new one in. I own a 58
Imperial with a 392 Hemi. If you can remember that far back, you'll realize
that there were no Mopar alternators (or GM for that matter) back then. I
can't just bolt a Mopar alternator to my 392, it just doesn't work that way.
I appreciate you being so gun-ho Mopar, but please see my point of view.
