carpet for '64 thru '66 Imperial

After contacting so many suppliers we lost count, we finally settled on a very high quality carpet from L. Walston Auto Interiors in Lucerne Valley, CA.  Their samples were far superior to anything we received from anyone else.  Whereas it is not as coarse looking as the original twisted-clipped carpeting that was in the car when we purchased it, it is of a high quality.  Until someone takes on the task of relooming an exact replica, it will have to do.  The color is perfect and it has a very low sheen to it rather than the cheap looking shiny cut pile samples we were sent as "just like the factory installed".  They were easy to deal with and reasonably priced.  Don't recall them being in too big of a hurry to get the molded carpet to us though.  Seems like it did take a while to receive after placing the order.
