Hello all....Ive been a member of this list for over a year
but haven't posted anything until now although I've enjoyed reading about
everyone's Imperials.
Early Sunday
morning I picked up my first Imperial in quite a while, a 1969 Crown 4 dr
hardtop I purchased from the original owner, a colorful English gentleman
living in Ct. (He bought the car on 6/20/69) The car is Surf Green w/ a
dark green vinyl roof and green interior. she's not loaded as Imperials go
(ATC AM radio power seat TiltAScope wheel and tinted glass) but the
price was ridiculously low ( $500!! ) and I couldnt pass it up. Ive discoverd
she's pretty rare....only 823 built. This is my first venture into the
"fuselage" era.Ive had 64 and 65 Imps, but Ive always liked this style too
(almost sinister in appearance).Heck I love em all! The car needs some work
but runs like a scalded cat!. I'd enjoy talking w/ other owners whatever the
year Imp so drop me a line.
