Mike,
Your best bet is to hit the junkyards. If you can't find an Imperial, you 
can find a serviceable replacement, (not Cartier).  CHECK THE FRONT WHEEL 
DRIVES TOO. My Lasers and LeBaron GTS have the same basic steering wheel as 
the Imperial and I believe the whole center sections interchange. The 
LeBaron had a crystal (glass) pentastar.
