I humbly confess, I didn't bother looking because I was so sure. That's
what I get for being sure!
Does this Delco starter have a Mopar number on it? The parts book shows a
4145360 for the '81 - I assume it would be the same for an '82. Mine has a
Pentastar sticker on it, also.
However, the questioner has a 1960 - are we saying that even in 1960, Mopar
used Delco as a supplier? Count me as astonished!

They probably think you have an Impala, not an Imperial. Imperials do not
use Delco starters! That is for a GM car.
