NY "black plates" and cassette decks

In NY you have to turn in the plates immediately if you take insurance off
the vehicle. So if you sell the car you have to turn in the old plates.
I have historical plates on my 'cuda. They are still the new Statue of
Liberty design, they just say historical on them and there are restrictions
and a lower annual fee. I don't think you can use year of manufacture
plates here, if you can I'd like to know since I still have my originals
"hanging on a nail in the garage."

I'm not sure about Imperials, but in '71 the 'cudas got the little cassette
deck with the microphone that you could make tapes with. I know in '70 when
my Dad bought mine you could only get am/fm or am 8 track-Dad's choice,
anyone got any good 8 tracks?
