I'd think it would be more like a "must avoid" or "must disconnect" if you expect to drive the car. I don't want to have something as critical as brakes tied up in the first generation of automation when there are probably not a handful of people who even know what they are and even less that have the parts. Autotemp II is bad enough but you can always lower the windows if that quits working. If you could not get Dr Dick to adopt you, I guess you could drag your foot, ala Fred Flintstone..... <grin> KerryP Patch panels fabricated Pinkertonk@xxxxxxxxx dte.net/57imperial Imperials -- 50 Limo, 57 roadster, 61's, 62, 68 Convert, 73, a 66 300 and a bunch of lesser marques ----- Original Message ----- From: Mark Evans <evansma@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, April 05, 2003 8:25 PM Subject: Re: IML: '69 on Ebay > Elijah, > I had a '71 Lincoln Mark III with Sure-Track 4-wheel anti-lock braking > system. it was optional on all Lincolns from 1969-1979 but standard on all > Mark series from 1971 through 1979.
