Yeah, and a black one at that! His secretary Peggy drove a '71 Dodge Colt, same as my mom did! I talked my parents out of a '71 Datsun (way to boxy), and a '71 Corona (it was dark green with a vinal top, and a black vinel interior - UGLY!) I was 10 in Sept. '71 and when my mom whined about the Dodge Dart 4 dr being to big, I pointed out the cute little Colt on the front row. Done deal! They both frowned at me over the '71 Challenger Convertible I wanted most. Imperial content: To big for my 5'0 tall mom to drive without pillows. You could always tell the bad guys were on the trail when you'd see a 69 - 72 Imperial following him around. For some reason in Mannix land the bad guys were always in the Imperial. --- On Thu 04/17, Bruce Samoila < fift8imperial@xxxxxxxxx > wrote: From: Bruce Samoila [mailto: fift8imperial@xxxxxxxxx] To: mailing-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Thu, 17 Apr 2003 05:37:57 -0700 (PDT) Subject: Re: IML: Imperial on T.V Commercial That's right, In the 1966 Batman movie, Bruce Wayne
did drive a '66 Imperial convertible. There was also a 1964 series
called "my living doll" with Bob Cummings and Julie
Newmar ( prior to her being catwoman on Batman). He
drove a '64 Crown Convertible in the show. Just a
little useless info to enjoy. Bruce.

__________________________________________________
Do you Yahoo!?
The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier.
