When you buy a pair of matched belts, at least on Gates
belts, they are joined with a piece of red tape that says matched on it. Belts
for the 60's Imperials are very easy to find. If you should experience any
problem, you always call Bernbaums. You'll pay a bit more , but he carries
them.-----

Last summer I replaced the waterpump in my 83 and got a pr. of
matched belts (Gates) from my local parts house. Or at least he said they
were a matched set. They seem just fine , both retain the same tension,
etc. Leo H. 83 EFI ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kerry
