Just as a point of clarification, the first generation AutoTemp system was used from late 1967 through the 1970 model year. For 1971, the AutoTemp II system was introduced and used through the 1973 model year. The AutoTemp II used for 1974 and 1975 Imperials (and on New Yorker Broughams through 1978) is actually a very different system than its predecessor. I guess labelling it AutoTemp III would have looked a little odd. ;o) Anyway, Leo, if you haven't done so already, be sure to check out the information on the AutoTemp system at http://www.imperialclub.com/YearByYear/1968/Tech/68-4/index.htm and http://www.imperialclub.com/YearByYear/1968/Tech/68-3/index.htm. There's also bound to be some good information in the mailing list archives. Good luck!
