Venetian blinds on back windows and exterior sun visors

I don't know about blinds ion Imperials, but I had one custom made for my '56 N.Y. wagon back in l960 for the rear window in the tailgate. Still have it!

I would like to know if these were popular in Imperials in the 50 & 60's as they were popular here in Australia on Australian cars.

I think a rear venetian would really suit my 58 coupe.
