Self-Introduction: I grew up in Burbank, California where I learned in auto
shop how to rebuild my first car before I drove it. My Imperial was
purchased by my father in Glendale, California. He was told that the
previous owner was a member of the Cecil B. DeMille family. I have rebuilt
the engine and the transmission has been rebuilt. It needs a complete
interior and a paint job. Some chrome is missing or needs replacement. I
need to rework or repair the locks and the power window motors and controls.
My father stored it in Battle Mountain, Nevada before my son towed it here
to Iowa in 1992. I hope to improve the condition to the point I can drive it
from time to time. Just joined the North Iowa Vintage Auto Club. Need to
replace the sending unit in the gas tank before I can drive it. Info.
