Questions about removing chrome on 57 Imperial

Charles, I THINK I described this in my 57 saga at:

The script has bolts that can be reached when you take the inner fender liner out.  The eyebrow trim is a bear but the bolts can be reached by going in the wheel well and reaching WAY up toward the front over the headlights.

The trunk problem is because of a broken torsion arm.

Subject: IML: Questions about removing chrome on 57 Imperial

Hi, I am removing the chrome & crown on my 57 Imperial, and I don't know how to get the chrome off the front fenders and the Imperial signature off the fenders. Also how does the windows and motor gears come out of the windows.
If you can think of anything else that is a problem to take off please let me know. One final thing, On my new (57 Imperial) the trunk won't stay up by itself. Do you have any ideas?
Thanks,
Charles in Calif.
