Guess What Everyone???
Today I tracked down (locally) the front end assembly
(minus bumper) for a 90's Chrysler Imperial so I can
put it on my Dynasty (for those not fimilar, I'm
turning my Dodge Dynasty into a Dodge Imperial by
throwing an Imperial interior in and installing a
front end off of an Impererial.... alread did the
interior except the auto dimn mirror [which I have...
just needs to go in] and a EVIC.... digital dash is
already in and working too!).
For $200 (US) I'll be getting the centre nose piece,
grill, headlamps, etc. It's off a gold '93.... so I'll
have to repaint it to match my Dynasty colour (no
biggy there!).
Now I just need the bumper, lower grill, bumper
supports (maybe), and the gold "IMPERIAL" logos....
I also found a yard which may have the EVIC overhead
console too.
So needless to say, I might be on my way (will have to
look at this front end assembly to see if it will be
what I need.... it has a minor crack on the back which
I can repair... may need to cut and paste this
assembly together with a tad of fabrication work to
get it to fit my Dynasty correctly!).
Still have yet to find an Imperial in the pick and
pulls in my area, this the first time I've found a
Imperial specific part locally, so I wonder how it got
there, lol!
