IML DIGEST rebuilding 440 in 1968 Crown

Thank you for the information. I was aware that the timing set could be easily 
replaced as I have done it on two of my brand "X" cars myself. I just hadn't 
heard anything about this for a long time. Back in the late '70s this problem 
took many of our cars off the road for good, since even though it was an easy 
repair, at that time our cars weren't worth the $500.00 repair bill it would 
have taken to fix them, so many were junked.
