DMV Records / Original Dealers

I decided to do a bit of research on the origin of my 1953 Imperial. I'd
like to know where it was manufactured, which dealer sold it originally and
to whom, etc, etc.
Is there a Chrysler Historical Society that archives some of this
information? I was able to get some of this same type of information for my
1948 Cadillac via the GM Historical files.
Any suggestions?

                                            Quint
