To all of the owners of 2 piece driveshaft cars out there, I have found
a solution to the chronic failure of the center support cushion. Take 1
S10 Chevy truck driveshaft support, sleeve the bearing retainer to
reduce to the OD of the Imperial bearing,(important because the Chevy
bearing is 3/8 " longer) make up an adapter plate for the X frame mount
and you have a bulletproof support that will outlive even an Imperial.
