Magazine article featuring a '56 Imperial

Today I received my copy of March's issue of Cars and Parts. Beginning on page 20 and running thru page 27 is a fantastic article (including lots of photos) about a beautifully restored '56 Imperial sedan. This particular car has factory air, highway Hi-Fi and an incredible pink and gray interior! I can't wait to crawl into bed tonight and fall asleep reading this pleasant surprise! Rarely does an Imperial grace the cover of any magazine these days but Cars and Parts? They are usually so caught up in muscle cars I can't believe they would deem this car "important enough' for the cover! I am thrilled, don't get me wrong, but surprised nonetheless. It should be on the news stands soon!

There is an entire page devoted to the Highway Hi-Fi option with three photos including one of a young(er) Lawrence Welk who appeared in advertisements for Chrysler promoting the new "sound system"!
