It's not only diameter, it is also the length, when discussing 1965-73 C body torsion bars. Fury and Polara/Monaco bars were the same length while Chrysler bars were 3" longer. Imperials, with their 3" longer front stub, are longer yet. Imperial bars are unique, prior to 1974, and do not interchange with any other car. 1974-78 C body bars are all the same length regardless of make.
