Self-Introduction: I grew up in a G.M. household as my dad worked for G.M.
in New York (1950s and 60s). The only Chrysler that I've had was an Omni
that diesled and wouldn't shut down. I was not impressed! BUT, in February
of 2003, a friend pointed out this 65 Imperial that had been sitting on a
used car lot for four years. I stopped next time I drove by and inquired
about it and it wasn't too expensive so I asked to drive it. My thought was
to pick it up cheap and resell it -only. After we unearthed it from mounds
of ice and snow, I took it for a spin. (of course it started right up) "Not
bad" I thought, and the rest is history. I quickly found that I just
could't, would't sell it, and I'm now a faithful Chrysler and Imperial fan.
I also now own a 78 New Yorker Broughm St. Regis, and soon a 77 Town and
Country wagon. In my household is also a 58 Plymouth Custom Suburban Wagon!
I just can't get enough. Last summer I joined the WPC Club and went to my
first National! So isn't life gre
