I guess I am the proud owner of a stepchild Imperial...1953 Custom...nowhere on the car does it say Chrysler..."Imperial" is scripted in chrome on the two front panels. I keep reading IML entries about Imperials are really Imperials only if they are 1955 vintage and younger. If this is true I guess I'll have to take my pseudo Imperial out into the desert and shoot it. Please someone, tell me that a 1953 Imperial is really part of the family.
