Auto Movers responsibility

In Nov. of '03, I paid $775 for my car (drivable) to be shipped from CA to
AL. on an open hauler. The driver left Dana Point, CA around noon on a
Friday and had my car on the ground here in Mobile by 7:45AM the following
Monday! He apologized for not getting it to me by Sunday afternoon but he
was having some trouble with the lights on his rig and he also went through
some bad weather. He called me at least four times and answered my calls
promptly as well. Other than the bad weather, which he couldn't control,
there were no problems and my car arrived safely. I have no regrets and, as
I stated earlier, wouldn't hesitate to contact them again. I would,
however, let them know that I have learned of this unfortunate experience
with a fellow IML'er and would request they find someone they are familiar
with to haul my car. That may or may not do any good!
