Failed ign switch in 67?

Only the starter will not engage when the neutral safety switch does not
allow current to pass through -- I think, but check the wiring diagram to
be sure.  Accessories should still work regardless of which gear the car
thinks it's in.

Test your neutral safety switch. I know that if it fails, the car won't
crank. I don't remember if the rest of the stuff will come on or not, but
it is worth a try. They fail much more frequently than the ignition switch
and it might be easier to change.
